"The Politics of Recognition" - a public lecture Monday, April 6, 2009. the Kellogg Center, 1501 International Affairs Building, 6:15pm Synopsis: Charles Taylor, Professor Emeritus of Philosophy at McGill University and winner of the 2007 Templeton Prize and the 2008 Kyoto Prize, will speak on "The Politics of Recognition." Co-Sponsored by the Center for the Study of Democracy, Tolerance, and Religion, the Institute for Religion, Culture, and Public Life, and the Committee on Global Thought This event is free and open to the public.
